  Safety is our priority both in design and operation.  To help ensure the drivers of the Segway XT remain safe, redundancy and repetition have been built into the balance and electrical systems.  If any of the systems begin to function with a reduced capability another is programmed to assume responsibility.  This allows the Segway XT to balance and bring the driver to a safe stop.
